The Inter-American Day of Air Quality - DIAIRE, is celebrated on the second Friday of August. This day was instituted in 2002 by AIDIS, the CWWA, the PAHO / WHO, among others, considering the burden of disease per year in Latin America and the Caribbean attributable to air pollution.

The Inter-American Day of Cleanliness and Citizenship is known as DIADESOL in America, which comes from the phrase "Solid Waste Day", is celebrated on the third Saturday of September and was developed with the objective of creating activities that awaken the conscience of peoples of Latin America on issues related to solid waste.

Inter-American Water Day - DIAA

In 1992, AIDIS, the CWWA and the PAHO began the celebration of the Inter-American Water Day, which is celebrated on the first Saturday of October.
The commemoration of the DIAA - the first Saturday of October of each year - reaffirms the permanent commitment of the partners of this initiative.
